----------------------------------- DarthVader1 Thu Mar 25, 2010 11:35 pm KSC AUTO-9 customizing! ----------------------------------- Well, I've being working to try to get my new AUTO-9 to "fire" in public without any ammo or anything that could hurt people during a parade (main purpose I've bought it for :wink:) or at any event... but finally my experiment resulted in a COMPLETE SUCCESS!!! http://photos.imageevent.com/darthvader1/smileys//figo.gif http://photos.imageevent.com/darthvader1/smileys//smile24.gif I didn't have to glue a BB or two to the magazine port, neither I had to OPEN the magazine to remove the spring that pushes the BB's up (that would've damaged the magazine... besides, I didn't know how to do that, and would've been more expensive). But I found out (sucessfully) that by filing out the notch that makes the gun react when the magazine is empty was the best option. In case you guys want to do that with your own KSC AUTO 9, I think you could do the same with no damage to the gun, as long as you use GREEN GAS. Once again, since I will use THIS SPECIFIC weapon ALWAYS IN PUBLIC, I did this customizing OF THE MAGAZINE, so I didn't compromise the weapon at any moment, neither the safety of bystanders around me if at a parade or event. Really appreciate it. In fact, I've just bought another magazine to do the same, just to have it ready as a backup for the "big showtime" at DRAGON*CON in Atlanta next year (2011).
