I always found it kind of weird how there seems to be an abundance of people and fans commenting all over all of the Archive's youtube videos as well as anything else Robo related, yet they squander their effort arguing in the YT comment section. Once again, good job J-man. The little montage/music video at the end seemed kind of out of place concerning the fact that it is a staple of most Archive videos to have short awesome clips at the end already. But good none-the-less. And Dash, my my my you have quite the sultry voice. Kind of got turned on there for a minute. :wink: My suggestion for the next episode? Although I think it's been brought to the table before, the little Jesus Christ references Verhoeven put in the first film would be something I think we as a forum and the countless anonymous youtubers would find very fascinating to see put together in a nice little video. But would it be able to fill an entire episode? Hmm, not sure. But good none-the-less. Your probably right but i thought it would be a fun and upbeat way to end the video, and it fits nicely with the episode's Auto-9/firepower theme. It's pretty pointless, yeah, but fun. :) Is there gonna be an episode 3? If so, what's it gonna be about? I was gonna have it be about RoboCop2 and all it's deleted scenes and all that, but i realized that since there are little or no footage to use, we're talking 4-5 minutes of just still images moving around, which would be tiresome to do, and perhaps boring to watch. So until i can muster the courage to take it on and make it visually interesting enough, the next episode will focus on "The soul of Murphy" Basically look on what parts of him that are still human and what is machine. Does the helmet have any use except protecting his head? Is it Murphy's real head and face? Can you kill Robo by shooting at his mouth? When I initially read that the next ep was about "The soul of Murphy" I thought it would be about how RoboCop can dream, have fragmented memories, and identify himself as Murphy. There are different ways in which RoboCop/Murphy's relationship with is family was handled, depending on the Story. It turned out I was thinking more along the lines as Murphy's humanity. Perhaps a different topic. When reading about which parts of RoboCop could be organic or not, I was surprised to hear that even his eyeballs could potentially be synthetic. I suppose I never thought as much before because I really liked Weller's eyes. I mean, they were so blue when he was on the ER table in R1! This will be probably the most interesting and part of the series coz this are always most frequently questions on internet and at all. And if your courage will be too high you could put to the part also questions of type ... Could be Robocop eat something other than just the baby food ? If he can eat then he must also drink something, maybe only water. Of course we know that the food for the Robocop is rudimentary paste ( oh yeah everybody know as the babyfood ) but we never seen him eat it or something, except the novel from Naha. After the fight with Ed209 in R1 when Lewis brought to him the babyfood he says " Thank you I am not hungry ". Hmm insteresting. If he is not hungry after a big and exhausting fight there comes question, how often he should eat. Or if the Robocop can breathe. That easy. After all the operations his face still has nose, he has human brain and it needs oxygen. .. and etc etc questions of something like these . Sometimes is nice to not know everything about a character, that is what do the hero more mysterious and maybe also the creators did not know how explain or dont want reveal everything . You could include to the third episode another most discussted topic " Does Robocop feel pain ? " Many questions there were also about his weight. Does Robocop really weigh more than half of ton ? " Or that is just something around 200kg ?, what would be more logical than one ton and as one of the goofs says ..."Robocop apparently weighs several hundred pounds, as demonstrated when seven officers struggled trying to lift him after he grabbed the high voltage contacts. Of all the scenes that were cut from the second movie that's the one that interests me the most, as I always thought Faxx's decision to use Cain for her Robocop2 was really hard to consider at all plausible. So I'd be really curious to see what that scene was like and (if it helps) would love to see it reinserted in a fan-edit. Failing that... is at least the script for it available? Or some more photos? Anyway, with that said, great job on the videos, I particularly enjoyed the part about reloading as I'd often wondered about that myself (where Robo keeps his spare ammo). I'd never noticed the "palm ejected" ammo in Miller's comic and thus did not know about that. The scene was cut at an early stage so it's not on the workprint. The scene can be found in the fourth draft of the Robo2 script however and is one of the longest of all the filmed deleted scenes. Of course, I'm also a bit biased here too, but still, it was nice. Dash seems to be the narrator now, and he does very well. He keeps it nerdy but hot. Though I will miss Mephs manly southern gentleman/badass tones, dash does excellent as well. Anyway, good content on the video, J does an excellent job of editing as usual. I liked the inclusion of the left holster from the series and whatnot. The ending was excellent with the hip-hop Robo marach and the gunfights. I'm giddy. Ok, onto the next one! :)
