The Movie you have seen the most times over you lifetime?

For me it would have to be Superman 3
God I would go to my sisters boyfriends house at the age of about 12-13.
The only Half decent movie he had was Superman 3 :huhwhat:
I went there a lot for about a year or so. I think I saw it nearly everyday.

Please good people of the board, Don't hate me for it :(

I thought it was a great movie at the time :ohdear:

I can't place which movie I've seen the most times in my life because there have been many movies I got hooked on growing up.

some of the movies are:
1. Predator. This movie is the shit.
2. Predator2. because it was the sequel. it wasn't as good as the first, but it had its moments.
3. Robocop. I thought this was the coolest movie I had ever seen when I was young and still do.
4. Robocop2, again like predator2 not as good as the first movie but had its moments.
5. And last but not least Spawn. I got hooked on the comic and couldn't stop watching the movie when it came out.

I have probably seen these movies hundreds of times.

I saw "Star Wars: A new hope" A LOT when i was a kid. It was basically the case of watching it and when the film was over, rewind the tape, and watch it again.

( ....and yeah, i might have seen RoboCop a few times aswell... )

I would say something like this:

1st RoboCop
2nd Conan the barbarian
3rd & 4th Terminator 1 & 2
5th Aliens
Others RoboCop 2, Predator, Total Recall and Die Hard.

Curiously I "hated" Star Wars trilogy when I was a kid, they put it a lot of times on TV, and I always found it extremely boring. Finally being a teenager (near 15 years old) I started to appreciate very much Star Wars, and I saw it a lot of times, but in numbers of watched times it clearly was at disadvantage compared to those movies I've listed above which I watched over and over since I was a kid, and I still watch them.

According to wikipeida:

In the comic, he very rarely removes his helmet -- twice in the entire history of the series, apart from the above mentioned The Dead Man storyline -- and even then, his real face is never revealed.

So it's like making a batman movie and he takes his mask off halfway through and then battles some thugs...or spiderman or the like.

My thoughts exactly. In the comics he NEVER takes it off, that way he's more intimitating or however you spell it, and way cooler. It would have been cool if he would have taken it off for a brief time or something, like in the locker room or somethin. In the comics I've only seen him take it off once and then he was shot in the head and his head was covered in bandages. What's this Dead Man -storyline then? :huhwhat:

Well I read a bit about it on Wikipeida, and it's a non-Dredd story that takes place in Dredd universe, about a disfigured and burned amnesic guy traveling through the Cursed Earth. It turns out he really is Dredd, who had taken the Long Walk and then got attacked 100 days later. HE then returns to Mega City 1 to fight the dark judges in the monumental Necropolis story. Must have throw people for a loop because they were reading a non Dredd story, and then all the sudden he's Dredd. You see his face but it was burned by acid, so you don't REALLY see his face. I never actually read it, but would certainly love to get it at some point.

Yes but since were talking about the movie, Dredd is nowhere near a
situation like that. Well it's okay it's taken off during the prison transport to
Titan,
even though he gets to wear it and the uniform in the comics when he gets sentenced there.
Shit, now that I think of it, the whole thing makes sense.
But then again, do judges get the same treatment as regular prisoners?
Not in the comics anyway. Wow, this is confusing :?
Anyway, I meant it would be cooler if the helmet stayed on most of the film.

Who the f is Walter?

Walter was Judge Dredd's house robot. He is usually used in stories to provide comic relief, and he has a speech impediment which causes him to pronounce his r's as w's. He was made a free robot with the rights of a human citizen in 2099 for his loyal services during the First Robot War. However he was so devoted to Dredd that he chose to remain in Dredd's employ and even got rid of his freedom papers in exchange for a Deed of Ownership giving him to Dredd.

He left Dredd's service after he sustained serious damage at the hands of Mean Machine Angel. This was an effort by the writers to kill him off when Judge Dredd stories were becoming grittier and more mature. However, the character was brought back by John Wagner several years later; he now ran his own company and on the surface appeared to be a success, but still had issue from his former devotion to Dredd. He met Dredd again in 2115, helping him escape the forces of Judge Grice and wielding a vast amount of deadly weaponry, killing many ex-convict Judges in the process.

The next year, Walter snapped and attempted to lead a second Robot War, and actually shot Dredd to punish him for Dredd's harsh treatment of him over the years. Arrested by Rookie Judge Giant and sentenced to thirty years, he was freed from jail during the actual Second Robot War. Found by Dredd, he was paroled in 2122 and now lives with Mrs Gunderson as a community service. He helps her run her Judge Death-based tourist attraction.

I can give you a scan of his bio/pic from quality comics if you desire.

Yes Spawn was one of my favourite movies as well, even though today
it sorta sucks. Not entirely bad, though.

I wish they'd make a remake or a sequel...

The cartoons are rocking. I have the box set, and liked at least the first two better then the movie, which i also liked.

If you liked the spawn comics or the movie, and dig animation in the slightest, you will absolutely LOVE this collection. The show was originally on HBO (lots of blood, sex, ect.) and was separated by three seasons, which each are like a separate episode of a massive epic in themselves. Unfortunately the series was never finished, and the third part is a big cliffhanger, but the series completely rocked. It is a lot more like the comics, actually darker, and better in my opinion. The episode changes are pretty much seamless. You absolutely must have this amazing collection, as it's the best Spawn EVER!

the movies I've seen the most times:

Two cult classics from the good old days when we had a BETA MAX video and I played the same tapes over and over again :)
Lone Wolf McQuade - starring Chuck Norris and David Carradine
They Call Me Trinity - starring Bud Spencer and Terence Hill

Later on...

Star Wars, Batman '89, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Terminator 2
