Naturally I wanted to spread the word to you folks and it occurred to me that no one has bothered to make a thread featuring this topic! The Amazingly fun Wii has a thread, the very cool 360 has a thread, hell even the lil PSP has one even if no one ever visits or posts on it. So this is the official PS3 thread for this board hence forth. So say we all! And now I introduce you to that cool game I mentioned, Infamous. Looks like a more serious, story driven Crackdown. Example being the binocular feature and the changing of camera focus. Most games don't give you that, but it's a damn shame. That and the gameplay looks badass enough for me to disown the Splinter Cell series (especially after the craptasterpiece that was Double Agent). ----------------------------------- Sgt. For people not knowing what to get for their PS3s, I recomend The Darkness. The game may not be the longest (but FPSs rarely are) but it is packed with detail and its damned satisfying to play. I recently tried to go through the game on hard and for the first time in a long time I was actually met with a much harder game. I will persevere though, as the achievement for completing the game on hard is pretty decent. Its just the principal. If you pay THAT muxh for a console, it better shit gold, or at least have free online gaming. The PS network is slowly becoming a marketplace like Live did. (granted I think it's menus and navigation is clunky as hell..). That, and you can install an OS on your PS3 so it's.. pretty much a computer too. Unless they have the audicity to charge more than Microsoft, I don't see much issue. At the moment, all there is are the basics which will be improved upon as early as the end ofthe year. And using the net is pretty good. Not all aplications are supported , but the ones that are work really well. Then you find 'add funds' and choose an amount of money which will then be withdrawn from your bank account. It raises lots of questions, which is what I like about the MGS trailers, it raises the questions, and makes you play the game to get the answers. One of my favorite things in the new trailer is Metal Gear REX (piloted by Solid Snake) vs Metal Gear RAY (piloted by Liquid Ocelot). And from the looks of it, that part takes place at Shadow Moses, and that Snake is using the REX he had to fight in MGS 1, but by the looks of the battle damage. Then it should show all of the files and you will find the images in them. Remember, whatever you are looking for has to be in the right place on the Xross Media Bar. Also has full multiplayer which rocks, the best mode is Pitch Black where the mercs hunt Riddick in the dark. Plowing through Dark Athena on hard right now.
