Just watching Mission impossible 3 and didn't see but heard Robo. About 14 minutes in when Luther Sickell is manoeuvring the remore control guns, it sounds just like Robocop moving... or maybe ive been watching robocop to much again LOL but check it out.

Wouldn't surprise me if they used a clip of his movement sounds. Sound effects are reused all the time, of course Robo's movements are a bit distinctive but only really noticiable to die-hard robofans like us - Still I can see them being used, especially for a brief scene or something.

You see I am wondering if all the Robo-movement sounds were even original to our movie. I know I have heard the same sound effects in other movies. I can't say as though I have heard them in movies before RoboCop but I have definitely heard them in other flicks. The gun sound effects, which we have discussed, are most definitely in other movies, total recall being the most obvious.

I've heard his moving sound in quite a few places. Heck, it's even in the theme-song for "Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight".

Yeah it wouldn't surprise me, even props get reused, this is from the semi set of knight rider, I'm sure you will remember it

Im pretty sure I heard a Robocop movement sound effect in a cutscene in Sonic Unleashed.
Also regularly hear Robocain's sfx in stuff.

Yeah, they are mostly stock effects sounds and have popped up in numerous TV shows and movies featuring robots or mechanical things moving. They are fun to spot though, and only us RoboNerds seem to spot them!
