After 14 years, the RoboCop statue
has finally been set into place in Detroit.
Sure, it seems to have been plonked down with little ceremony, but at least it's done.
Now we wait for the inevitable vandalism. Will it be RoboCop 2 style spray paint (although that would be fun, knowing the vandal is a fan), or a Bart Simpson style head removal followed by insanity driven by guilt?

Utterly insane how long this took. And after all this time, it looks fine. Not amazing, not bad, just fine. I don't think the location really highlights the statue, at least from. the photos. But its goddamn RoboCop standing tall in Detroit, so that's a great accomplishment and long overdue. I live in NY so its a bit of a hike to go check it out, but if I am ever near Detroit I will be sure to make a trip over and take some pics with Robo.

Finally. And I agree, the location could be better. But anyway...
I hope people will behave and Robo won´t have any trouble with punks writting "KIK ME" over him.

To think that this actually happened after all these years... It seemed to be getting quite a bit of coverage online too. If anyone ever goes to see it in person, make sure to post some pics posing with it _________________ Anything you post can be used against you!
