I'd say I'm more excited for RoboDoc 2 and 3 than I was for the first, and I was damned excited.
I think it's because there's not as much known about the sequels so I've, perhaps prematurely, set my expectations high for loads of new info, behind the scenes stuff, alternate takes and cast & crew interviews.
Hopefully it'll be a bit easier this time around for those who had trouble. I'm hoping they release close together so I can kick my other half out, order Pizza, get some beverages in and watch the trio over the weekend.

100'% with you. Always great to know more about the lesser known parts of the franchise. There´s a chance to see pics and clips from deleted scenes from Robo2 (hopefully also from the third one) and a hour documentary about The Series sounds really cool when you can´t find anything from it (except for the VHS featurette the Archive uploaded and labels borrowed for their releases).

They had a glimpse of Lewis visiting Faxx deleted scene in their teaser, that scene was not in OCP declassified, nor anywhere else, so there's hope. _________________ http://robocop2directive5.blogspot.fr/

We've seen images and video of some deleted/extended scenes from RoboCop 2 so I'm not sure what more we can be shown, unless it is the Lewis/Catzo knife fight.
I'm just as (if not slightly more) interested about extra content from RoboCop 3 honestly, it's the one we know very little of. _________________

The guys have updated the official social media pages for the Doc with a new profile pic of Cain's face as seen on his monitor. Hopefully that's a sign news on RoboDoc 2's release date isn't too far away... _________________

Yep. I hope we´ll get new updates soon and I hope these Cain digital faces means RoboDoc 2 is in its final stages to be finished and ready to get into BD disc(s).

I hope so.
I've quit all social recently so I'm well out of the loop with, well, everything so even changing a profile picture gets me excited.
I'm easily more excited for RoboDoc 2 and 3 because I reckon there's so much to unearth. While there were many great moments in RoboDoc, a lot of it has been exhaustingly covered over the last 38 years, whereas the sequels feel like they've their own legend about them, with loads of untold stories.

Yup. Anything about the rest of the franchise is more appealing than the first one. We had plenty of stuff dedicated to the first and classic film, but little about the rest. So RoboDoc 2 and 3 (including the one hour doc about Robo on TV) sounds more interesting to me.

I guess those social media pages being updated didn't really lead to much, haven't heard a single thing in the almost 9 months since...! _________________

Unfortunately they still haven't found an interested distributor for the RoboDoc 2 documentary. They need one for streaming and disc production etc.
Of course if it is this difficult to get interest in a doc for Robo2, the one about Robo3/series is basically an impossibility.

I wonder why the distributor for the first RoboDoc isn't interested...? I guess if they can't get a physical release as promised, they might have to just release the remaining docs digitally, with some form of exclusivity for those that backed the project to receive it first before being released generally?
Would have been nice to have RoboDoc 2 and 3 BluRays for my shelf to sit with all the others. Hopefully someone steps in. _________________

Screambox was distributor for the first RoboDoc. Their thing is horror movies and Robo1 kind of fits there. The over the top violence and the melting man etc.
Robo2 however really isn't horror so i can understand they not being interested.

Any chance they could all get dumped together? Like instead of making individual deals for each release they make a deal with a distributor to release them all together? I know it seems unlikely but if all that footage is just sitting around this seems like the only solution that would lead to the rest being released. But if Screambox is not interested in continuing this series I imagine it is gonna be hard to get anyone to take a documentary about 2 without also having the documentary about the first, much more beloved film alongside it.
