I've been searching round this messageboard and it came to my surprise that there was no 'pinball' thread to be found...so I thought, why not go make one?
I for one am quite a fan of pinball machines, unlike video games or arcade machines (It doesn't matter if they're both the same thing) the only goal in a pinball machine isn't to just win the game...but to score as many points as possible and it can be very addicting when you want to beat your friends or the top scorers on that machine itself.
Today, you don't see many pinball machines in many arcades, if anything...they're dying out and almost no-one will get a kick out of it any more. However, there are pinball conventions every now and then and they're full of the machines, so there's still a chance to go check them out while they're around.
Anyway, let's go and talk about some great pinball machines...here are a couple of pictures to get this started.

Glad to see that other people out there are really into pinball machines. Right off the bat I'll point out that a while back I had purchased a refurbished Surfin Safari pinball machine for $600, which was incredibly cheap. Plus it was in great condition and it has a decent amount of fun things to do. I roughly had the machine for three years and took care of it and played the crap out of it. Then I ended up selling it $550. So essentially I rented a pinball machine for 3 years for 50 bucks. I'm always on the lookout for machines though. I miss the days of being able to find and play them everywhere
