@jclayman99, Do you have a pic you can share for my reference? Also, on your Anti, are the jaw and neck Rubber or is the whole thing Fiberglass?

I'm on the look out for an anti helmet. I know his pieces come unpainted which is not a problem. Do the helmets come with the black visor? Anti produces movie accurate pieces and are a must have. I live in the UK and would like to source one for my re-worked suit. Any info from Anti part owners appreciated. Have seen on e-bay helmet for sale for $349.00. Is it anti? Seems close.

I have an "Anti" helmet, and I could say is that if that's a recast... it's really well done. BTW, the Anti helmet is ALL FIBERGLASS, it only have a rubber tubing strap system holding the back of the neck/head and the top of the helmet.
There are hints in the description, as you posted, that indicates it's indeed a RECAST, since Anti's helmet is a 3-part one: top, chin, and back of neck/lower head. If it doesn't come in that configuration, then someeone made a mold with all the parts together, since it's non-wearable as you mentioned.
Another thing... Anti did two versions of his helmet (that I recall); only difference between versions is how narrow it was inside the helmet (old one?), and an improvement to the magnet system for the chin/neck connection. _________________ - Robert

I own a Anti Helmet and I must say it does look like his unless someone recast it. I have always had an issue with his helmet being the jaw line un snaps off the earth magnets with minor pressure. I have to keep my head tilting at a minimal to keep it attached. Anyone has a fix for this?

Vader. Actually it is in separate pieces. Just glued together for this finished piece. So I don't think it's a recast.

Ok, guys, so out of curiosity, when you guys wear your Robo helmets, does it squash your nose?
I prefer not to have my nostrils showing (like the Roboarchive logo banner/pic up at the header) and cannot stand the nostril-showing look. Therefore, I have to wear the helmet very close to my face and have my nose squashed.
Am I the only one that does this?

The tip of the nose has to touch somehow the front of the visor... in other words, NO NOSTRILS SHOWING. I'm not a big-nosed guy, but I feel it really uncomfortable just right where the edge of the helmet touches the edge of the very back of the nose and upper lip corner... not to mention FOGGING LENSES.
Now, this all depends on each person's face features' measurements. Say, folks with big noses and/or big heads (no offense, and I'm talking realistic here) will not fit this helmet. If your measurements from tip of the nose to the most outwards parts of your lower head or upper neck are not par to the dimensions inside the helmet; that's then a different story.
The ROBO suits in the movies were made to the actor's measurements at the time, and Anti's helmet is as accurate as you could get. If you're not a "PETER WELLER / ROBERT BURKE-sized" type, then you get what you pay for.
Just my 2 cents.
Talking about nostrils... I've seen somewhere a pic of the robo suit with the actor or costumer showing the nostrils... was that in here, in the movie (from an angle), or someone fan wearing the costume? _________________ - Robert

The helmets I bought from Anti I believe are epoxy resin not fiberglass. It might have glass in it but I don't think its fiberglass resin. I bought 2 from him and both were the same. maybe the early ones were fiberglass. If it is its not a fiberglass I have ever used. It is a very cool piece and incredibly strong. I havnt taken any pics, but i can if you like.
