I'd fuckin' love to catch the films on the big screen. I wasn't even born when R1 was released.

I envy those of you that actually got to watch any of them in the theater.

That's about all I got to say at this point. Bah. tongue

Wish I couldve seen it in theaters. I wanted to but knew I had no chance (talking bout R2, was too young for R1) to even get close to a theater playing such hardcore movie at my age. I did see R2 and R3 immediately after they were released on VHS. The hype surrounding R2 was enormous, it was in magazines everywhere. The Arcade game was so popular and the adults and older teenagers loved it, so it was THE thing to see. I had to wait two weeks to get R2 cause it was constantly being rented and on demand. You actually had to reserve a copy and wait. Not to mention the ordeal I had to go through in convincing my parents to let me see it since they watched R1 with me a year or two prior.

For some reason no one even knew that R3 came out. I didnt even know R3 existed untill I met my much older cousin coming back from the rental place holding three new movies, with R3 with 'new releases" sticker being one of them. Thats why I didnt know anything about it, and none of my friends even believed me that it exists and also knew nothing about it. Such an enormous contrast to the hype of the previous installment from 3 years prior. I almost crapped my pants when I saw it - talking about great surprise - you hope part 3 will be made someday and then out of nowhere you see it on VHS already. But once the copy started circulating, no one ever spoke about RoboCop again

Me! i saw it 3 times when i was 6 with my dad and we loved it, it was that awesome.

I also had the merchandise as a kid including comics to playing the arcade game and NES game to watching the cartoon.

I even saw the sequel 2 times and also played the games and also saw part 3 only once but it sucked.

Scanning all of them? You guys seriously? Shocked
Wow, that’s a big homework! Rolling Eyes

Well, I didn’t expect you wanna see these booklets because they are written in Japanese.
If you don’t care about it, I will do it. yessir
Though each booklet has about 20pages, so it’d take time to finish up,maybe…
In addition, is that OK to post all of them on this topic?

Above the photos were taken by i-phone,though needs scanning, right?
I’m wondering if my old scanning machine works well for these big booklets…
If not, I could use my i-phone or digital camera.
Anyway, I’m going to post as soon as possible. Wink

I second that. Even though most of us can't read Japanese we all love pretty pictures.

Hell, Johan or Zentron (if you have the power mate) can whack them in the gallery.

I could have done that too, but I had doubts at the time as I thought Peter Weller was the one true RoboCop.
