They would never use the original suit. It's not a practicable thing to wear at this time. If it will be an actual suit and not this "humanized" crap they will probably have it semi-real much like Ironman where a lot of the final product in action is CG.
The original design by Bottin will be gone whatever happens, but I at least hope they incorporate SOME of the iconic parts of the suit that makes RoboCop recognizable. Making a new suit that has nothing to do with Robo makes no sense and if they go ahead with it critics and fans alike will crucify them for it when the movie is released.

First off if they had Ed Norton in this film and he wasn't Robo himself that would be the fuckin dumbest thing I have ever heard of. Guaranteed he is not in this movie. It all just depends. This is probably the last time I will comment about the new movie because it tears me apart. This speculation is killing me and I know no matter what if I obsess over it, it will ruin the experience of watching it. I'm gonna go see it with as blank of a slate as I can have and form everything I feel about it from my viewing experience and not a total teardown of the pre production. I recommend this to you all too if you want any chance of enjoying it. Just stop obsessing. I am. It's hard, but I'm doin it.

If the rumor would be true, the worst thing is that love triangle thing... 
It's too cruel for Murphy because it'd be betrayl by the both of
the partner, male Lewis, and his wife, which is he has trusted the best.
What a terrible story...Poor Murphy and Anne Lewis... 
I really wanna see happier story of them.

Pimp, Junko, good stuff. Really good stuff.
I'm with Demise though, everyone needs to rake it down a few notches. Hell, not even that. Just don't invest so much worry into it. I've been over it for a while. We'll always have our favorite Robo films, and I'm interested in seeing what they do with it. For better or worse. Though I am expecting my admission price to turn out to be a waste.

I've always liked Gary Oldman. He was in 5th Element, Hannibal as well.
All I want to see really is the suit or lack of.

Agreed.
I like Oldman too. I love him as Stansfield and I think he has a good range. If this proves to be true then it is good to have that calibre of name attached to the film. However, I don't know why they changed it from "Morton".
And Beer, Léon is the name used outside the USA wherein it was called The Professional. In some places it is also known as Léon: The Professional.
