| Josh : | | RoboFan_93 : | | Bring on the Tintin movie already!! |
I'm not a fan of Tintin, but I love the style of the film.
Cartoonish proportions but realistic colours and lighting... |
That's what got me into Tintin in the first place - it looks cartoony, but takes itself seriously. Kinda like Batman TAS, minus the Batman part. _________________

The trailer I see everyday at work looks completely uninteresting. There's barely even any people in it.
I'm gonna have to see a better version. If there's anything better to see that is. _________________ All of humanity is of my creation. They are all the ways I could have lived my life, but didn't. All the possibilities I missed. The reason for their existence is to give contrast to my ego.

Tintin? Drugs busts, slavery, raving alcoholics, guns, car chases, people getting coshed over the head every five minutes... what's not to love?
...I love Tintin.
What I don't love is all this 3D fad crap at the moment, and I can already see they've stuck in some ridiculous/needless action scenes to show off the 3D (and would have done it anyway even if it wasn't 3D).
I'll rent it I guess.
And if it sucks, there'll always be the inevitable Teesside Tintin spoof dub of it.

I'm kinda looking forward to Dredd. Although I'm dredding another f*ck-up.
Costume is looking a little meh, but... it's the spirit of the thing that counts. I'm hoping it really will be as dark, dark-humoured and cynical as the comics. Yeah, that's a long shot with the Hollywood of today and its current 'superhero' splurge...

I am still looking forward to Dredd but my interest in The Dark Knight Rises is, well, rising.
And the run time is close to three hours. My arse shall be number than the victim of a spank loving dominatrix.

Sticking with Dredd for me TDKR is sure too dissapoint,Unless Nolan duz something that no other filmmaker has and knocks it out of the park for a third time..

After a major letdown and a bittersweet disappointment TDKR is shaping up to be a big pile of crap, or so it would seem. I am not impressed by what I've seen so far, and in fact from the trailers this appears to be the worst of the trilogy...that said I haven't even thought about the film in weeks, but I have read some Batman comics recently (including vol. 1 of the new 52 relaunch) so that fix has been filled.
Dredd, on the other hand, I have been fiending for for a long while. A few years ago I cleaned out my local comic shop of every Dredd title they have, and thus haven't had any 'new' Dredd tales to read in a while. The trailer looks excellent, if not entirely stunning, but appears to be a serviceable, entertaining super-hero film which is far more than I can say for the soap-opera-plus-half-assed-villains-fest that Nolan's Batman series is. Seriously though, Bane looks sillier than he did in the George Clooney Batman, and that's really saying something. _________________

Warm Bodies.
Normally I'm pretty indifferent to zombie movies or chick flicks, but in seeing the preview of this and reading a bit of info on it, I'm quite intrigued.

A Good Day To Die Hard.
Kinda looking forward to this one. Wasn't too thrilled with the last one (didn't feel like a Die Hard movie to me).
But it seems now they are bringing McClane's kids into the picture again. Am I gonna see another Torch-Passing in this movie? _________________

I to am looking forward to the new diehard, but for some reason, I actually liked part four for what it was. Although it easily could have been its own stand alone action movie with Willis that wasn't part of the franchise.
