Nice to see I'm not the only one who thought Prime Directives could be much better with some significant cuts (and seeing as you turned the four episodes into only two, I'd say these are significant alright!)
Unfortunately, the link on MegaShares don't seem to be working anymore (it's weird, the first time I tried downloading the first episode it got around 90% then failed, maybe because of Megashares' 550MB limit, then I tried several times in the last few days but the download won't even start).
Can you put this up on MegaUpload, David Cell? Or anyone who managed to download this?

Now this is very interesting indeed...
I'm currently downloading the file. It's taken over an hour and I'm already on the 60% mark... once it's done I'll see if the file works and I'll try to send it to you. No promises though, but I'll do my best. Hope that's okay, Duke =)

Will get the next ep uploaded hopefully by this time tomorrow
I'll also send in my review afterwards - I don't wanna spoil it for a certain someone just yet

Ah, this time my download failed at a measly 28%.
But at least now I can try again as much as I like.
Still... how about splitting the next one in four parts? That should make things easier for everybody.
Either way, thanks again for the help Gadget
Here I go trying again. Perhaps I will have better luck.
Edit:
Ok! I managed to download it on the second try!

Okay, I finally watched the first one (I wanted to see the three feature films again first, to better put this in perspective).
Firstly, I'll have to say that sadly I was not able to see the end... the movie cut off abruptly for some reason just after the death of the OCP board.
Aside from that, it's a pretty good edit. It certainly has a better flow and manages to cut out some of the zanyness that plagued the miniseries (though there were some more things I would have cut... like Robo reading Miranda to Cable. Why would he do that if his fourth directive is forcing him to kill Cable, whether he resists arrest or not?) Granted I can see how the resulting music jumps would make some cuts not worth the gain... a pity. Remarkably, the music only had very few such noticeable jumps (two or three I think), and I imagine those cuts must have been worth it.
There were some things that felt a bit confusing and abrupt because of the cuts. Such as Sara framing Cable and her alliance with Lowe, or the fact that he was not authorized to deploy System Control... though I'm certainly glad the CEO's reaction to that suggestion was cut. When I first saw the miniseries, I thought it would be something bigger and badder than ED 209 and instead it turns out to be a bunch of guys with taser beams (I had flashbacks to the Omega Force of Operation Canadian Bacon).
So yeah, a better experience, I look forward to part 2.

Nooooo >_<
So much for looking forward: part 2 dies on me 13 minutes in.
I've tried several players but without luck. Am I the only one who ran into this problem?
How about you gadget?
...but you know, it's kind of funny: the players kills itself just as the exposition on Legion is about to get to the part concerning its effects on living tissue.
It's like the player's saying "A computer virus that dissolves flesh? Not on my watch!"
(BTW, sorry about the triple post)

What video player are you using?
If you haven't already, use the VLC player.

That's odd. I've managed to watch both parts of the video several times interruption. The only odd thing I've noticed is that the first video is unable to rewind and fastforward as I've mentioned to you previously on PM.
I've managed to play both vids on:
Windows Media Player 10
Media Player Classic (ver. 6.4.9.1)
VLC (ver. 1.1.4.)
Like Johan asked, what player are you using? And can you fastforward the second vid and see if you can get to the end or past 13 minutes?

Windows Media Player does not display any video (only plays audio) and Media Player Classic (ver. 6.4.9.1) stops a few seconds after the other players I'd tried did.
Maybe I should try re-downloading the file..?
Guess I'll try that.

Give the VLC player a try also, it plays everything and is highly recommended.
