Yeah, that 309 looks straight out of some 1980's Cinefantastique Magazine.
Haven't read any of the new comics, but that looks straight retro. And not in a good/radical way. And I own two wooden TVs, records, 8 tracks, cassettes, NES, SNES/etc, and 300 CED select-a-vision video disks.
This = horrible presentation.
Will wait for all of your impression of the 309 though (which in my mind, is such a cliche and retarded name for the next upgrade IMHO) of course.

He has a red visor !? ( i hate red visors ) :roll: Anyway not bad ! Maybe they might to do it more by comics style and to add there more black lines . It could be much more better .. Now it is too light or something ! But not bad !

Y'all said it, Robo's body position just looks awkward and unnatural.
Not a lot of detail on the ED-309 for me to judge entirely, (you just can't tell too much from that angle, which is probably intentional) but the blocky and angled design does seem very retro and more old-fashioned than 209, or so I feel. It certainly don't look all that different in any case.
Plus that background just baffles me. Where the hell are they, Route 66?
