No fan, you're not alone. I also prefer Burke. I think he did just fine.

I wasn't too keen on burke because I felt he was too 'macho' for the part. There's a sensitivity to the role that has to be tapped into that Burke didn't possess. I felt Eden was better suited for it as he had enough of that to play on.

Again, Burke looked and moved fine. Physically he looked closer to Weller and was overall somewhat better on movement. He just didn't act the actual character as well as Eden to me. His GPS style straight-robotic talk always irked me.

There are things I like more about the one than the other but overall I like 'em both about the same.

I grew up watching the series, i only got to see the real movies when i was in jr high, We had a custodian named Bill (God rest his soul) who showed movies over lunch hour in one of class rooms,

I found that Eden had a smooth voice that fit well, although he spoke softly and slowly like he was constantly thinking about something, Burke had a very hard deep voice (deeper than Peters)
I must say Burke did do a solid job of trying to get all the moves just right, Eden seemed too clunky and ridgid sometimes. No one could ever fill the gap that Peter left, he made Robocop

There's no need to get into bad lines. Again, not the actors fault. Plus if we were gonna go that route, just from the few episodes of the series I've seen, I could post quite a few horrific lines as well. And that wouldn't be Eden's fault either.

Yep, very well ! Smile Like from my mind .. a +PT for that Wink Also I dont understand, why they changed the Robocops voice ( except the parts he has his helmet off ) . Like Stan and Sabs have wrote. His voice looks really too robotic and Robocop remind rather a robot as a cyborg with human soul !

Demise makes a point. Bad lines are there with both. Still, it didn't help Burke nor R3 itself that his acting and mannerism was too forced and robotic, regardless of why it was that way. Eden's acting just didn't come off like that.

Again, both Burke and Eden are about equal to me overall. I can't really rate one higher than the other.

As for the Series, it could have been better. They made a good attempt, and did fairly decently considering. I will enjoy it for what it is, but I can't classify it as truly good. It is in places, but not overall.

I wasn't blaming Burke for anything. I was pointing out the extremely over-the-top robotic voice/personality they had him using.

One thing I don't like about Burke's acting is him, as Robo, keeping his arms hip-deep with the palms of the hands downwards...that I hate.

Speaking of Robert being macho, apparently he is a fire fighter in new york now, he signed on and got certified by new york state after helping with the rescue efforts during 9/11.

from movie cop to real hero I found that kinda cool.

Well, they are both good actor as I could see, again, we canīt blame the actor for the script.

I still think that Eden without his helmet should have a darker look, it makes him feel week, while with Peter, robocop without helmet we can clearly see a strong MAN Very Happy
