CAIN MKII : | Holy shit, 2010 is my greatest Christmass ever.
After spending the whole day watching the auction live online and a lot of tension, I'm the winner of the CAIN stunt puppet.
This is just huge because it is as close as I can get from the real thing.
Tippett's Star wars auctions didn't make to well, maybe because of the very high price tags.
Robocop did pretty good:
Robocop+jetpack : 47.2K $
R2 prototype B: 35.4K $
Cain stopmo puppet: 44.250K $
Cain stunt puppet: 7K (it's me)
Now I need to make the arrangement and book a ticket for LAX because I want to pick up this bad boy myself. |
yehaaaaaaaaaa very good, i'm very happy for you really!!
congreat!!
super genial bravo!!

Wow awesome auction!
Anyone else think the Robo with jetpack looks like a modified horizon model?
It would make sence, its about the right scale and matches the film version nicely. Also I believe it was released about 1989, plenty of time to be used for robo2.

Dude are you serious???
This is a genuine stop motion puppet, no lame horizon kit whatever. _________________

I don't think its unbelievable that they would use the horizon kit for parts of the puppet. If it could save them time why not. It looks like they had to make a new face and hands but everything else looks the same as my kit.

I would rather say that the horizon kit looks like the stop-motion puppet.
At best. _________________
