I thought it wouldve been great if wed share some scans of the articles from the time the movies were released (1987, 1990 and 1993).

I've no vintage magazines, but I do have the press kits from all 3 movies and the video release of RoboCop on VHS. Would anyone want some scans?
I also have the Japanese RC3 Photobook. There are some scans on here, but the quality is hit and miss, and there's a lot of cool material left out. The end of the book even has some promotional material on RoboCop The Ride and some character and vehicle designs from the Marvel cartoon. _________________

I think it would be ok. It is mostly individuals that would take action like Paul Sammon did with the Cinefex article.
But i doubt anyone cares enough to sue us over some movie magazines from 200 years ago.
That said i have the Cinefantastique RoboCop2 issue in scanned form, which i could put up here.

Ill start with 1987 Newsweek
And also here's an LA Times Article that interviews Irvin Kershner about R2 - http://articles.latimes.com/1990-07-16/entertainment/ca-239_1. Its interesting because it seems that R2 had even more depth than I thought. I kinda didnt even think about the fact that Robo had a free will and didnt have to do any of what he did, but he chose to. Irvin also explains why the vivid colors

First thing first, I will start with an article dedicated to R1.
I don't remember the magazine( I kept the robocop stuff and dumped away everything else) so if someone can help me ID it.
I had a lot of trouble with my scanner so I don't know if I will be able to make
more so enjoy your read (click to enlarge)

Thank you Archive!
The cinefantastique R2 article is my favourite. It's loaded with a lot of information.
Here is another one: Starlog may 1990

What a treat, what a treat. Much appreciated, great read. Thanks guys. See, theres always something new to be picked up from the vintage magazines. Like the fact that Robocop takes place in 2020. Like the confirmation that most of Delta City is already built when Robocop awakes. Like the fact that Weller didnt like Corporate Wars either. Again, great stuff, keep it coming and shows us something about R3 - I have never read anything in the press about it, only whats on the site
