Ive recently become addicted to the indie title Minecraft after reading about it constantly. Finally I decided to take the plunge and download it. Minutes turned to hours before I realized what was happening and then BOOM, I had myself the frame to what I call "OCP Tower". It is very much a work in progress but I plan on having my own little Delta City eventually. Anyone else discovered this game?

I have read a hell of a lot about Minecraft, it just came out of nowhere.
Shame I'm not a PC gamer. Oh, and nice to see you post Blake...

Yes it has indeed been a long while, I have posted here and there in the last few months but I am trying to be more consistant. Still a Robo-obsessive though. _________________

Eventually I wanna make a GIF of these and admit I have no life at the moment...
and an artsy one
I have yet to try the multiplayer mode, could be interesting.

I've been thinking of testing the game as it seems fun but I'm afraid to get too hooked on it. It really looks like dangerously addictive.

Thats exactly one of the reasons I waited so long, fear that it would consume my life. I actually pirated the game and sunk like 5 hours in one go which is rare for me, I usually need a couple breaks. After that I actually went and bought the game. Partly to, you know, support indie devs and such.....but mostly it was just so I could get the new updates and backup or play my saves from anywhere. _________________

Is it an independent game or something? I watched some videos on youtube and it looks like it would be really fun. But why did they make it look so shitty? I can appreciate everything being blocky, including the animals, but it still could look halfway good. This looks like it should have came out about 10 years ago or more. _________________

Yes its an indie game, but a true success story. Though the game is still in Beta they just announced they have sold almost 2 million copies(downloaded). Minecraft admittedly looks dated, one of my friends noted they thought I was playing Doom II, it has a certain charm. The game embraces its art style and is actually quite beautiful if you enjoy the newer retro-style some games have lately like Darwinia or 3D Dot Game Heroes. Honestly I already liked the way the game looked but it was the gameplay that really got its claws into my soul....so if the blocky look aint your thing perhaps the game itself might draw you in. _________________

I love the Robo-fied design! Who knows where this crossover was even thought up. _________________
