NECA: First Look At New Battle Damage 7" RoboCop!

"Discovered on popular Japanese toy retailer Blister is what appears to be the first image of NECA's upcoming and rumored Battle Damage Robocop. The figure is similar to the regular 7" Robocop that was released last year. Not much else is known, but the site does list its availability at being around June 2012."

Well, I only have a McFarlane regular robocop, I didn't have the luck to see any battledamaged edition in the store.

But I think it would be good to see another version of battle damage.

about the helmet, I believe it is hard to create the face to perfection, but we must wait and see

If someone says, battle damaged Robocop, I imagine the scene from steel mill aftre the fight with ED 209 . .and Robo without his helmet so this is the ways how a really good figure of battle damage Robocop should look .

If they will do just something what is in that picture and again the same 7 inch, nothing so extra, I and many of us can to do the same damege and coloring with a 7 inch figure.

Randy confirmed that NECA do not have rights for Weller likeness. They indeed made proto of damaged unhelmeted Robo but it will not be put in retail due to likeness problem.
Also this BD Robo is a whole new sculpt. Check belly area for example.
It will be sold in 25th anniversary packaging.

I think what would be interesting to see and what they should also do is a regular Murphy figure when he was just a cop and one of him being shot up, it would be like the robocop figures one regular and one battle damaged.
