I was alright with Kinnaman I really was, but then he starts this crap about how the remake will be a better showcase for acting skills.
Anyone can walk like Robo and I bet 90% of us on here do every now and then (along with spinning our keys like a certain badass firearm), but to walk like Robo with a heavy suit on with restricted hearing and sight, while following exact directions, melting away due to immense heat all the while doing the same scene for the twentieth time I can imagine takes something.
I know I sound like a massive fanboy but I'm not sucking on Weller's shaft here, but I bet you it's demanding as hell.

Quoted for truth. Kinnaman is coming across like a bit of a douche, even if he doesn't mean to.
And yes, I have walked like Robo before and I spin my keys all the time. When I was young I put a saucepan on my head as a makeshift helmet, but couldn't see so kept bumping into things, including my mother who just gave me a funny look and walked on past me.

like others have said, I,Robot with him being a cop. oh,yu damn well know now he'll be doing shit like climbing up the side of buildings,swimming underwater,probably reintroduce the flight-pack.
sadly, i could ALMOST see this working if it was something other than RoboCop. i can picture a compelling sci-fi/horror/ drama with a guy who gets killed,is rebuilt but looks the same as before. he escapes before he's fully programmed,and goes back to his family,and tries to carry on his old life,unknown to him that he's considered dead,and that his "body" is actually a machine. dealing with the psychological issues of someone back from the dead,who's whole life has moved on without him,but CANNOT just plug himself back into that life cause he's not "human" anymore. so on a suicide/revenge trip, he goes after those that killed him in the first place, using his new abilities to overwhelm the criminals.

Well... I'm new here and I just thought Robocop would be cool if he could look like Iron Man.
Iron Man, no! In fact it would be awesome to see an War Machine like Robocop against the criminals!!!

Wow... so... I'm a brazilian... yeah... and of couse I know about Padilha will direct this remake/reboot and I'm very proud of it 
And I need to say this
I know Robocop Archive since, I think 2001 but I never registered here... I have all the movies, the series, the prime directives, the animated series (less the second version, Alpha Commando)
But I really think it would be cool to see an Iron Man like Robocop, more faster and if possible with the same flying capablities. It would be the ultimate Robot Cop! hahahahah 
By the way, there is a line from Robocop 2 where Mr. Johnson says: "I never met a person who would like to be a robot" when they are discussing the details of RoboCop 2 program with the Faxx, the OCP excutive and the Old Man
Well, I don't remember the line originally and I'm still too lazy to put the DVD here and watch it again... but if somebody give me the option to be a robot I would want a lot.
It would be awesome to be a powerful robot like RoboCain, in fact since I watched this movie when I was a kid (I'm 30 years old now) I always want to be like RoboCain.
