The figure features a new sculpted body, black, light grey and silver armor, interchangeable lower faces, working thigh gun holster and the ability to speak memorable quotes from the movie.
RoboCop is the latest addition to Hot Toys MMS Diecast Series in which the collectible figures are made of diecast material, specially designed to look more closely to the realistic RoboCop in the movie.
* EDITED FOR NEWS FORUM
Am I the only one who feels this could be the best RoboCop figure yet? I mean, they got the color right, it talks, it's die-cast, the mouth-sculpts are terrific... I guess the only thing missing is a working holster-leg.
Sheesh, Hot Toys know how to take a guy's money, that's for sure
Also, I looked for the topic where we discussed the figure before we had pics, but I couldn't find it _________________ Anything you post can be used against you!

Looks terrific in the pics. I even doubted if the first ones were taken from the movie.
It's peter weller, no doubt.
Very, very impressive.

Toys and figures are like videogames, when you saw the new 3D graphics 10 or 15 years ago it looked amazing and so realistic, but those old games now look like shit.
I remember being so impressed by first McFarlane Robo, then Neca was a big improvement, it made McFarlane look very mediocre.
But this? Is it really possible to improve this? I mean if he really looks like the pics... Those look promo pics from the 1987 film!!

Iīm sure this one has itīs weaknesses too. Articulation possibly. Also remember, this is a prototype. I donīt know how diecast parts are made nowadays, but I think this could easily be a weak spot too.
Nevertheless Iīm so getting this. Ed209 too. I guess Iīll cancel my ps3 preorder. That should do.
Do you really prefer neca over McFarlane Robo?
Iīm disgusted everytime I look at the Neca Robocop and I even had it custom painted. Still, it looks so cheap and the articulation is beyond awful(compared to the figma at least).

WOWZA! It's.... so beautiful. So perfect! Now I hope Enterbay's statue sucks, (which it won't), because if they pull off a helmetless Weller likeness, I'm not going to know what to do. I'm gonna end up homeless with a couple of Robo statues as friends haha.
