On the off-chance that anyone's been collecting them, (there must be someone), I'd like to see a vote on the best one.
Actually, has that ever been done on here for any of the other comics?

I wonder whats the turn in time on those panels, less than a month? hes really rushing though it.
lol that first guy Robo tazers is sporting suspenders.. what year is this 91?
god I wish they would just hire a fan for these books, any one of us would put our heart and soul into these comics just to be able to say we were once part of a franchise they dearly loved

Yeah..I read and bought all the books except for Beta (which I confess I downloaded, cuz it didn't come to Portugal, apparently).
The best book is, by far, "Beta", which [spoilers] does not contain anything regarding Alex Murphy. It's the best drawn, the most polished and the best story.
Given this, I must say the new comics look and feel rushed, which kind'a ruins it for me. :\
If MGM would pay attention to the people on this forum, they would see we've got great artists here that could do so much better for the franchise.

I also liked the last one titled Beta, but besides for that, as Dcell said, they are pretty rushed and the art is less than interesting.

Interesting. That´s the good thing about the remake: we´re having new stuff from the original film
Cover is shitty, yes.

Beta stood out most for me. There's a great drawing of the 1.0 suit in there. Cover art is ace too.
Whilst we're on comics, has anyone picked up the oversized hardback of Frank Miller's RoboCop? Is it only available translated into German? I should really be saving towards that gallery edition of RvT.

The Frank Miller's RoboCop from Avatar Press is amazing. I love it...you can probably get it on Amazon or Ebay in second hand, I guess.
Regarding "Beta", the drawings are spot-on. Loved the details on the 1.0, that is a bit different from the Murphy version: the color is resembling a camo, and the visor is slightly different. Loved the little wink to "Frankenstein" by Sellars.

Artwork needed a lot of polishing, but all in all, the story for the comics manages to capture the "human coping with new life" aspect much better than the film did, which is rather sad considering how much hype the director said it would be part of the film, and in the end it was just half-baked at best.

Just finished reading Beta.. really enjoyed it.
I kept passing it at the shop, and never bothered to open it,. Im glad i did, the cover art is bland, but the actual panels are nicely colored and detailed. It was a great one shot story..
its also the first comic I bought in a long time.. and my have times changed.. you only get 11 pages of art (didnt it used to be 22?)
I read it all in one shitting.
and 4 bucks for a comic? man i feel old. I still remember paying 75cents for my transformers comics
