"Nearly twenty years after its first publication, the classic four-issue miniseries that teamed two great characters with two great creators, Frank Miller and Walter Simonson’s RoboCop versus The Terminator, returns to print in two formats: a hardcover graphic novel and a gallery edition!
This newly restored collection features remastered colors from Steve Oliff and an introduction by 2 Guns writer Steven Grant! The super deluxe RoboCop verus The Terminator Gallery Edition ushers in Dark Horse’s new gallery series format—reprinting Walter Simonson’s original art at full size, exactly as it appeared on his drawing table!"

Oooh, the gallery edition is oversized, matching the original art's scale. And if they're going to actually recolor the entire thing, it's nice that they sprung for one of the original colorists to do it. _________________

It´s cool to being able to get it, as it was tricky to get the single issues. Also, I´ve seen some of those "Gallery Editions" and they´re pretty big, but nice. I was lucky to see stuff like Mazzuchelli´s Born Again (again with Miller) and Simonson´s Thor and for a comic nerd it´s a pleasure to see the pencils of those stories.

This is awesome! It's cool that they're recoloring it and not just releasing it as is, shows they're putting effort into it.

I'd love to see some extras too like maybe some unused concept art or different issue covers. I bet there's a lot of supplement material behind this. _________________

Cool...I still have my original copies, but I'd love to have a hardcover edition.

I got all of mine last year on eBay '93.
And for about £15.

The original issues and TPB had some pretty flat coloring (and the dodgy paper didn't make things better), so this re-release should prove to be a great improvement. An essential buy for sure.

Plus, wasn't the original TPB exclusive to Diamond Comics or something? I remember it being rather pricey...
It'd be great if we could get decent Omnibuses for all the Robo comic series. _________________ Anything you post can be used against you!

About fucking time!
With Terminator: Genesis on its way, and the success of The Avengers, I wonder if anyone in Hollywood is considering a big screen adaptation... ;D
I'd love to see a Marvel omnibus on nice paper this year too!
Oh, by the way - Jose Padhila's RoboCop is available for preorder on Amazon UK tonight as a storybook! 2014's becoming an expensive year. I LIIIKE IT!

Storybook? Do you mean steelbook? Unless there IS a storybook, that'd be somewhat interesting. _________________
