I never had the chance to play 'em on a real arcade, but I prefer the R1 game.

my friend and i are looking for retro consoles, and if i find arcade machine for some low price, i'm thinking about to get it and put RC1 in it...

As a kid I spent hours down the local arcade trying to beat the Robocop arcade game - 20 years later and its still one of the hardest games ever!

this one's really tough, but i prefer robocop 1. the one version of robocop 2 i like though is the japanese version which begins at the end of the first robocop movie (albeit some differences between the game and the film)

I like Both of them Especially Robo 1 the (world Bootleg)which is the most complete in all graphic and sound FX,and Robo 2 the (japanese version like you said because is the most complete and of course I like how it begins in the ending sequence of Robo 1.Simply marvelous WOOOHOOO!!!!

Agree! it's very tough to beat epecially the ED-209 bosses ,but is amazing get back to play it again since then.Is simply xtremely addictive all ov them 1,2,3,2D & target practice,and I still playing FOREVER QUE VIVA ROBOCOP!!

In the latest issue of UK magazine Retro Gamer there is a 4page making of feature about the Arcade game and it's home port versions. A pretty interesting read if you have a chance to pick up the magazine.
I'll add it to the site at some point when the issue is no longer in the shops.
