Well, the Park brothers have done it again! I'll be downloading this to check it out, mainly for the music and curiousity about the colors, as I've only played the Gameboy port of this particular version. _________________ Anything you post can be used against you!

Originally started this remake of the CPC Robocop in 2009 when it got put on hold until I found the dev folder in 2015!
The original Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum robo game was a big in the UK as well as Spain and France but I don't think the USA got a release apart from the Gameboy version.
Version 1 was a bit too difficult as the speed was too fast so the the new 1.1 has this adjusted and more fixes and features as well the ZX Spectrum graphics and audio added (most requested addition) but the main idea for the remake so the 2 player co-op mode. This proved tricky and was a big reason the game was not finished in 2009 as the enemy AI now has two Robocop's to think about.
RoboCop Classic v1.1 features.
Speed:-
speed set at 40fps while screen refresh rate is 60 FPS
animation speed of robo and enemy increased
stairs speed increased
single shot and rocket bullet speed doubled
biker and ed209 explode animation faster
zx enemies walk frame count and speed adjusted as is differs from CPC
Graphics:-
zx spectrum graphics added
zx multi colour mode added
zx loading screen added
cpc loading screen edit
fireball animation now pauses during scanlines
select background, sprites and hud graphics independently
Sound:-
ZX Music added
ZX Sound effects added
select music or sound effects independently
Gameplay:-
robo aim direction restored after hit by bullet
robo no longer faces right when aiming straight up
specific walkers now walk nearer to robo
extra life every 20000 points when less than 3
250 points for items
original zx/cpc keyboard controls added Q,A,K,L
Menu:-
ZX/CPC option
movie scenes now faster
menu to game transitions faster
scanlines speed increased
scanline transition now covers HUD
new demo mode recorded
demo mode and credits screen now alternate
all fire buttons start game at title screen
text now types onto screen
Extras:-
zx executable with own icon
config.txt file now has separate settings for window and full screen modes
config.txt file now has ZX/CPC graphics setting

I loved this game.
I wish you could get all the old Robo classic games as apps on your tablet. Or can you?
