Hello, everyone I am brand new to the forum.
I would like to share these two pics for all fans of Robocop 2. Specifically Australian fans of the film. The reason I thought this would interest people is because the VHS box cover for Robocop 2 was the only one different than the american covers and I actually like this cover much more than the others. The front picture is a mirrored image I think and is on a european dvd release of the film.
The only place that I can currently find these pics on the net is on ebay.com.au but the quality of my uploads is much better. I saved it from a ebay a couple of years ago. The page was removed after the VHS was sold.

Thanks guys.

Of course I'm used to the iconic Robo through the wall image and personally really like the Robo head closeup with the shadow of RoboCAIN, but this does look pretty cool.
I can't help but think I've seen this shot in some form or other elsewhere though.. still, this is a neat find! Thanks for sharing, and welcome, of course. _________________ I don't wanna pay that, PhotoBucket. Now maybe you haven't heard, but I'm the guy in old Archive. So hows about you just shit snow for a year and I'll figure out something else. Sayonara!

Always neat to see covers from other countries. There's something really cool about the "2" on the logo - kinda makes it more "80s" and brings a sort of "cheaper action-flick" feel to it, but it's still pretty kickass.
This is the VHS cover we had here in Bulgaria, the picture is a thumbnail of a high-res scan I'd uploaded on the board some years ago. _________________ Anything you post can be used against you!

That's a pretty cool TV spot. And again, it's neat that it uses the LW-style "2". _________________ Anything you post can be used against you!

Yeah, I've seen that style of 2 before on some other posters, but its likely most known for Lethal Weapon 2. Nice to see some other covers from around the world. Our version was the Robo walking through the hole in the wall which I think is such a cool cover. Even the Series box set modified the colours and used it for their cover also.
On a side note, images of Robo copied direct from RoboCop 2 appear in the SNES & Genesis/MegaDrive games of RoboCop Vs. The Terminator and RoboCop 3. I was convinced one of them was this pic from the Aussie cover, but it's something similar.
Here's a trailer for what I assume is an Australian TV channel showing the movie Oat 8:30pm too interestingly!) It's using the same logo as the VHS cover.
