If you had to put in a balance all good and bad things of R2, Angie would definitely be in the good side! Always found her very beautiful and with a strong presence, her character is interesting, looks like an Angel yet physical and ready to fight, also could see some moments of weakness and troubled interior life.

Faith towards Cain was an important part of her character, only moment of doubt is when he kills Duffy in front of Hob, but as with any religion, Angie ultimately complies and thinks her "God" knows better. Then when Cain is gone she falls apart, but I always find interesting how Hobs become the new Cain in her life, as a mother seeing his orphan child taking charge and becoming the caretaker of the family. Obviously her nuke addiction was making her easy to manipulate and fit well into that (dysfunctional) family fantasy.

Then we have the encounter with RoboCain, fascinating moment. Does Cain kill her because he feels she is scared to death and faking it? Or because he realize he won't be a man of flesh again?

Now that I think of, plenty of strong female characters in R2, of course Lewis, but also Faxx, Angie, and Lab doctor. The plot can have many issues, but there is character development in there by Frank Miller.

I'm pretty sure they will have extra copies of the Doc to sell to people who didn't know about it or didn't have the money at the time. Plus, you can be sure it'll end up on a torrent site at some point too. I donated to help the guys out, so should be getting a nice BluRay of the doc when it's ready for release.

Has Weller been confirmed or not to show up in this? No matter how much effort they put into this things, it would just feel forever .... odd... to have a whole documentary feature without the main man himself. I also thought Weller a while back had made peace with his once anti-RoboCop persona?

That's a shame. I know we can not FORCE Weller to do anything, and heck, we should be lucky Weller is still alive and healthy as far as I know (he starred in some tv series these past years) For all we know, and 2016 being ruthless, Weller could have already died long time ago, be it sickness or accident.

But don't you just WANT this documentry to start with Weller saying "Hello folks, today marks the 30th anniversary of RoboCop, so the fans made this special feature for you to watch. Go grab some popcorn and enjoy!"

And heck, that could all it would be, for all I care.
