Hey everybody, don't know how many of you are in LA or nearby, but this Thursday, Feb 9. there's a 30th anniversary screening of RoboCop at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, followed by a Q & A with Peter Weller and Ed Neumeier.

Maybe you might be able to hook up with someone else on here like you did with Deus Ex Robo some while back. As for anyone nearby, that ain't me.  I know vegasrobo would have liked to go for it but it was too short a notice for him.

I'd hazard to put a number but in the event you're assuming that's why he's declined thus far and frankly I doubt if that's all it comes down to.

Well, turns out someone asked Weller about his non participation in the ROBODOC documentary and the answer was apparently that he is (again) tired of talking about RoboCop. He doesn't feel he has anything else to add to the documentary. All the information is out there for everyone to find.
The only reason why he did the discussion THIS day was because of the recent passing of Miguel Ferrer and that the owner of Egyptian theater asked him to come and talk about the movie.
This is, according to Weller, the last time he will ever talk about RoboCop again.

A shame, but indeed makes sense. At this stage, I don't fault him so much there, especially since I think he does have a point that perhaps indeed there's nothing much more to add, at least from his perspective. Glad he made one more exception though, if only to pay tribute to Miguel there.

So bummed I had to miss this screening! I had a company party that night. Although I got to see Peter Weller at an autograph show a few months ago in LA.
