Make an account on imgbb.com (free and takes a few seconds) and when you upload your pics there, they give you the direct link to it. Then make a post, click on the IMG tag, paste the link and click the IMG tag again. You could even update the OP in the thread with each new picture to keep them all in one place.

Imgur doesn't give you the direct links and wants you to visit the site, so essentially, they aren't the best site to use to do what you want. Also, you can put the links in one post instead of creating a separate post for each photo. That can get kinda annoying.
