Haha took me a second to see the image of that shot in my mind's eye and I totally got it and what you were saying.
Yes, absolutely.
That goes hand in hand with being a "Die Hard" fan and "making fists with your toes."
But yes, the RoboCain toe-flick is awesome.

You know you're a fan when, you turn the Blu-Ray and DVD cases of the new Robotically Enhanced Police Man movie around on the shop shelves, so that only the back of the cover is showing, in order that no-one will notice it and part the 13 quid asking price, getting ripped off by about.... 13 quid!

I did that in HMV, I put the original over the top of the reboot so no one would waste their money.
It's a public service really.

You can recognize robocop references a lot.
When I first played Deus Ex Human revolution, I spent ages wandering round detroit, lost, and thinking, 'So is Adam Jenson going to shoot someone in the crotch at some point?'
I did'nt notice the one in Fallout New Vegas much. The nenene gunrunners arsenal achievement.
Something else overrode all other thoughts when doing those achievements for the trophies.
I spent the entire time thinking
Must kill deathclaws with boxing tape!

I had to punch 3 deathclaws to death with boxing tape. It was hard.
It overode all other thoughts.
I did the achievement, and I did wonder why I had to shoot right arms to kill people. And the enemies sometimes got this WTF? look, like they were saying
WTH man?! You could shoot me in head!
I did think it was a oddly percific achievement.
Eventually, while I was slowly punching a KO'd deathclaw to death, I thought, hang on, is that arm achievement something to do with robocop?

Me: "Real estate! I know he went into real estate when he retired from movies..."
"Bobby Bottin? Bobby is sometimes short for 'Robert' and 'Rob' is short for Robert!"
I guess I was willing it to be him since I drive by the place everyday for work.
