Robo_1 : | Anyone know if this is down for a UK/Euro release? I don't fancy the idea of shelling out for the import, and then seeing it in my local DVD store only a month later. |
only region 1 because it´s a Collector's Edition
i´ve preordered mine already from Amazon.com

I'm sure the UK will get the DVD and Blu-Ray aswell. Sony, Fox, and MGM would be idiots not to bring it out in other countries.
The only reason I will fork out a little extra for Blu-Ray is because its the 20th anniversary, so it would be an insult not to...

All of the other tin packages special anniversary editions are out in the UK, so I am pretty certian this will be too. HMV and Virgin even have special sections for the anniversary tin box sets so check them out.

Out of Italy, Germany, and the US covers for the 2 Disc set. The US has the best. In both the Italian, and German covers, the Auto 9 looks like it's a basic pistol (we all know it's not.) Plus Italy and Germany's covers are using that bland boring generic logo, where the US has a newer more RoboCop like logo. Also, the US cover gets extra points for being a Steelbook case, where it looks like the German, and Italian versions aren't.

All of those covers look awful, I mean what the fuck is up with the Auto-9? Didn't anyone realise how it looks? It's tiny!
If the UK release has the generic (i.e. shit) RoboCop logo that the Italians got together with a god-awful attempt at an Auto-9, I WON'T be buying. Simple as.
