lol, Paul Anderson also said the same thing with the same! I know for a fact that the film won't be as dark as they say it will be, I don't trust these idiots for a second. And over all it will be rubbish, their crappy TV actor driven cast is going suck big time, just like that alien's neck.

And the hands were even that stupid in Alien Ressurection even tho that design sucked ass by miles.

How do you know they're idiots? Have you seen any of the stuff they worked on?

Look whatever I'm gonna wait for a trailer to come out. You can go on thinking the movie is gonna suck from the get go. Right now, in terms of costume design, I think it's a step in the right direction.

I just judge what I can see, that is why I said, "avp1 and this first shot of avp2"; and I keep my opinions about the creatures design whatever their promises are.

But let me say that you seem to trust too much in these bunch of money-makers, they did AVP1 (I talk about the generic team, not just the directors), which was the worst and cheesiest film of both sagas, and they're doing AVP2 just because producers thought AVP1 was successful enough! So let me be skeptical about their promises of darkness, original roots and quality in general...

They have FOX on their side, those ones are the idiots, and the nickleback music video wasn't enough to impress me. And the cast, dear god talk about roll on the teens! Surely they had enough money to get some decent actors!

Well, they need to get rid of those damned claws, cus if that alien burst out of human, the designers obviously don't care about the ideas behind the alien life cycle and how the host effects it's physical attributes.

Will not be convinced until I see something impressive.

See it does look ok. Im with Kamen and Burnout all the way. Plus they have said everything there is to be said. All I want is a more adult film and for it to return to its roots.

Which is what we were promised what we're gonna get, so we'll see.

Also, complaining about how there aren't any big name actors in this. You do realize at the time of the first Alien movie, the actors in that were pretty unknown.

Yeah but they were good actors, I've seen most of the new cast in what they're in and they are very poor, especially the teen actors.

That darkness just hides the textures, so it looks better, but it doesn't hide the design flaws of neck, claws and exaggerated head forms (that is not cameron-accurate for me). And i also would add the motuh, they changed the sides part of the face-mouth in avp1 and they seem to have kept it.

And for me darkness is not just changing color, I remain skeptical because today an "adult" commercial movie is something like Terminator 3 or Matrix Reloaded, that is 90% teen-mentality-focused and very strict ratings towards violence. I just have lost faith in Hollywood concerning action-sci-fi movies, we will never see films like Predator or Aliens again, not to mention RoboCop...
