GRAVESTONE DATE
The prop department made a mistake when building the tombstones for Cable and Murphy as they placed the years of birth and death on the stones. All the RoboCop movies have avoided showing a date as it's supposed to take place in a near future. The old tv-series also showed the dates on the tombstone but then it was much further in the future.

BULLET SELECT
When RoboCop is about to defeat the Bone Machine at the end of DARK JUSTICE, there is a brief RoboCop point of view shot where he selects "armour piercing bullets." This was an error made by the graphics company, as RoboCable has the bulletselect feature, while RoboCop doesn't.

CHINGUARD TROUBLE
The first scene to be filmed with the robosuit was the graveyard scene in MELTDOWN. It was the third day of shoting and there was a lot of trouble with the suit for the first scene. You can see very clearly that the chinguard isnīt placed correctly.

SYSTEM SUPPORT
The writers greatly regret not naming the division of OCP that deployed the RoboHunters "Technical Support" instead of "System Support". ("Hi, my E-mail program is crashing on me. Oh, and my RoboCop's gone out of control. Could you send a team of high-tech mercenaries to take care of it for me?")

OTOMO, OTOMO, OTOMO
The writers forgot that the name "Otomo" had been used in ROBOCOP III when naming Jordan's toy. However, like Frank Miller, they wrote it in as a reference to AKIRA writer/director Katsuhiro Otomo.
